Are the horses healthy and are X-rays available?

All the horses we offer are from professional and well managed stables. In most cases you can obtain comprehensive details about the history of the horses. X-rays are often available. Just ask and we can let you know what information is available.

What are the costs of a pre-purchase examination, or vetting, and who arranges it?

Seren Sporthorses can arrange the pre-purchase examination for you with a local veterinarian or a veterinarian of your choice. The costs vary from one clinic to another, and they also depend on the amount of tests you want to have done. A standard pre-purchase exam typically costs between £200-£300. It consists of a standard five-stage clinical examination performed for an individual prospective purchaser with a view to assessing the horse in relation to the purchaser's intended use of the horse.

Is Seren Sporthorses the owner of the horses offered?

We own the majority of horses offered for sale; on occasion we will have sales liveries; any horses not owned by us will be declared during our response to any enquiry.

Is it possible to negotiate a price?

Seren Sporthorses make every effort to set realistic prices.

How much does transportation cost?

The price of transportation depends on a number of factors: is it a gelding, a mare or a stallion, is it being transported on its own or together with other horses? We would be happy to provide you with a quotation from our transport partner.

Where are the stables and Seren Sporthorses located?

Seren Sporthorses is located in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds close to Curbridge.

Can I sell my horse via Seren Sporthorses?

Yes. We reserve the right to reject horses on any grounds and we only sell horses that we would buy ourselves.
